Searchandise Commerce Continues Growth in 2010 with Expanded Online Media Network and Hiring of Jim Alla, Senior Vice President of Sales
Company closed most successful quarter-to-date and grew network by 220 million monthly visitors

Searchandise Commerce, the first online media network for product manufacturers and their retail channel partners, today announced Q4 2009 was the company's most successful quarter-to-date, and the online media network increased by 220 million monthly visitors in 2009. The company has also recruited media industry veteran, Jim Alla as senior vice president of sales to drive continued growth.
Highlights of 2009 include being recognized as an AlwaysOn East 100 Award winner, being named a finalist for the MITX Technology Awards and being identified as the "Google of Retail" by eCommerce-Guide. In addition, the company doubled the number of active advertisers in the network as well as grew the scale of the network. The company also just announced the availability of its solution on mobile devices.
With the additional growth, the company made the strategic decision to hire Jim Alla as senior vice president of Sales. Alla's duties include advertising revenue strategy and execution, building and managing the sales team and forging manufacturer and agency relationships. Alla has extensive experience and success in digital media, advertising and technology solutions.
Prior to Searchandise, Alla was the Vice President of Media at Modiv Media where he managed the company's media business, operations, sales channels and overall growth. Prior to Modiv, he served as Vice President and General Manager of Media, Entertainment and Communications at Microsoft/FAST Search and Transfer. Previous roles include Vice President of Integrated Media and Online Sales for International Data Group (IDG), and executive management roles at 24/7 Real Media, Dotomi, Engage and Ziff Davis.
