Account Manager

Searchandise Commerce is a first-to-market online media network for product manufacturers, their agencies and their retail channel partners. The company combines the concepts of in-store merchandising where products vie for premium position, with the ROI and cost-per-click bidding of paid search and applies it to the Web.
Position Overview:
The primary focus of the Account Manager is to implement and manage campaigns, deliver exceptional service, build strong customer relationships and grow accounts. To do this you will leverage an understanding of paid search tactics and the best practices of merchandising to consultatively sell Searchandise’s unique offering in a virtually untapped corner of the search market. Collaborate with Sales Team, Operations, Manufacturing Brand Managers, and their ad agency representatives to launch and optimize online search campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand customer brands, sales objectives, marketing spend/budget and competitors; consultatively sell/upsell accounts, obtain insertion
orders and expand the reach of online search campaigns
- Continually optimize online search campaign performance by analyzing and
monitoring campaign delivery, ROI and position
- Establish strong customer relationships based on service delivery, search expertise, integrity, trustworthiness, and rapport
- Communicate client-reporting requirements and provide full campaign
accountability; generate and deliver customer analytics
- Serve as point of contact for problem escalation; demonstrate exceptional
customer interaction skills - from senior management to operations teams
- Work collaboratively with Sales Team and customer resources during
service implementations and ensure the transition from prospect to long-term
customer
To Qualify:
BS/BA or equivalent and 3+ years experience within consumer brand, online search, media planning, or agency settings
Proven ability to multi-task while paying strict attention to customer priorities, details & deadlines
Thrive in a start-up or fast paced entrepreneurial environment where talent, drive and customer dedication are recognized and rewarded
Analytical mindset and strong ability with MS Office Suite; experience with reporting/analytics tools desired
Top notch written & verbal communication skills, business acumen and common sense
A resourceful approach and unflappable determination in aligning resources to best serve the customer
